Dapper Dogs Strut Their Stuff at Paws on the Runway

“On May 2, Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for Animals (CARE) will hold one of its most popular events, Paws on the Runway, an adventure in canine couture and four-legged fashion.
Dressy dogs share the runway with human models in a fashion show that supports CARE’s mission to rescue, foster, spay and neuter and find homes for neglected dogs and cats. It’s not Milan or New York Fashion Week, but Paws on the Runway couldn’t be more important to the work of CARE, its staff and hundreds of volunteers.”

"LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fur-real some four-legged friends will be hitting the runway in a few weeks.
Central Arkansas Care for Animals is wrapping up the planning stages of their biggest fundraiser “Paws of the Runway.”
Adoptable pets and local celebrities are set to hit the stage May 2.
All of the money will go directly to the Little Rock-based rescue.
“A way for us to fund our rescue. they are a huge portion of our budget for the year. so they support our rescue and rehome program and also support our spay and neuter assistance,” says Victoria Vanderschilden.
General admission is $65."

"Some of the furry four-legged models at Paws on the Runway on May 10 walked across the runway, some of the smaller ones were carried and one decided not to walk across at all. But nobody minded — as they were all adorable. The 11th annual fashion show with the theme Vanity Fur was held at Next Level Events and was a fundraiser for CARE, an animal rescue organization."
