Archie VII, 20-023's Bio

Archie is amazing! He's extremely well-mannered and gets along great with other pups. He especially enjoys running with the rowdy group, but he's fine with old, grumpy ones, too! Archie is very respectful of both people and puppers! He's happy to cuddle up in your lap, but is also good with lounging at your feet. Archie was a stray we pulled from the Little Rock Animal Village, and he must have had a hard time while on the streets. He's very, very thin. He needs to gain at least 10-12 lbs. No doubt they'll fatten him up while he's with Paws in Prison. He's one that you almost can't help but spoil. Archie is a really, really, really great dog who could potentially do well in almost any situation. He's seems very emotionally stable and adaptable to varying circumstances. He's going to make someone (and hopefully their other dog/s) very happy!

Archie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $250.

As previously mentioned, Archie is enrolled in the Paws in Prison program where he will receive obedience training. It is an eight week program, so he should graduate in mid May. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents everything from his entering the facility, his daily training progress, and interactions with his trainers.
