Mac V, 20-016's Bio

Mac is a big ol' lover boy! He a gentle giant who gives the best hugs!!! Just ask his girlfriend, Bobbie. They were found together wandering a country road, but the Paws in Prison folks are working on their becoming a less bonded pair. We've even heard rumors that Bobbie now has eyes for another. Mac will be ok, though. He's a very grounded and stable dog who is going to be awesome at whatever is asked of him. We'll know more as his training progresses.

Mac is receiving obedience training in the Paws in Prison program. His expected graduation date is April 8.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal which documents his arrival at the unit, daily training progress, and interactions with his trainers.

Mac is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $250.

If you're interested in meeting Mac or learning more about the adoption process, please submit our online Adoption Application. Thank you!
