Bobbie II, 20-015's Bio

Bobbie was found wandering a country road with her traveling companion, Mac. Their story reminded me that "freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose." They hopped right in to their rescuer's vehicle and headed straight to the shelter. Bobbie is a very sweet, laid back dog. She's obviously good with other dogs, but cats and kids are an unknown at this point. We will learn more about her as she gets settled in to the Paws in Prison program.

Bobbie will receive obedience training through the Paws in Prison program. She is expected to graduate from PIP on April 8. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive her training journal which documents her arrival at the unit, her daily training progress, and interactions with her trainers.

Bobbie is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $250.

If you're interested in meeting Bobbie or learning more about the adotption process, please fill out our online Adoption Application. Thanks!
