Gigi III, 20-011's Bio

Gigi came to us as a stray from the Little Rock Animal Village. How anyone could let this dog get away is beyond me. She's AMAZING!!! She is so sweet and loving that with one look into her big brown eyes, you'll be hooked. She's seemingly housebroken, walks well on a leash, and isn't super high energy. She also gets along well with other dogs. She's "interested" in cats, but I can't imagine her hurting one. Better safe than sorry though, so a home without cats is preferable. She is currently enrolled in Paws in Prison. When she's finished, we anticipate that she will be absolute perfection!

Gigi will go through obedience training in the Paws in Prison program. We expect her to graduate on April 3.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive her training journal which documents her arrival at the prison, her daily training progress, and her interactions with the inmate trainers.

Gigi is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.

If you're interested in meeting Gigi or learning more about our adoption process, please fill out the online Adoption Application. Thanks!
