Cash II 20-012's Bio

Cash came from the Malvern Animal Shelter. He was picked up numerous times running loose because he didn’t like being tethered and left alone all day. Finally, his owner just gave up on him. He’s such a nice boy!!! When every other dog in that shelter was going crazy, he sat calmly and looked somewhat puzzled. It was as if he didn’t understand what all the ruckus was about. Cash is a sweet dog who loves attention. He is very interested in toys, and of course, treats! Seems to have had a bit of training, but will get a refesher course in the Paws in Prison program. He’s got great potential and a lot of love to give.

Cash is enrolled in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate on March 29th. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They are with their inmate trainer 24 hours a day. Because of this, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents everything from his entering the facility, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainer.
