Isabel, 19-156's Bio

Isabel is one of two hound mix pups who were brought to us by an exceptionally good Samaritan. When rescued, they were starving and terrified. However, she's raised them both to be wonderfully well adjusted young dogs who are now ready for their forever home/s. Isabel is an absolute sweetheart of a pup. Her big brown eyes and wrinkled brow could melt the coldest of hearts. She's a lover for sure!!! She is a young hound mix, though and will need plenty of exercise. A fenced in yard is definitely a good idea. She's great with other dogs and will make an awesome family pet. Isabel can be anxious, so an understanding and loving family is a must!

Isabel is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.

Isabel is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She graduated from Paws in Prison on 2/26/2020.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive her training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers.
