Thanks to Megan Taylor For Giving Me a Second Chance!

Poncho, 19-142's Bio

Poncho is a recent graduate of the Paws in Prison program who is still looking for his forever home. He received his AKC Canine Good Citizenship certificate, and was a favorite of all the trainers! He can be a little nervous around new people, but warms up quickly and is very affectionate. He is both food and toy motivated, but is not as high energy as your typical two year old lab. He is with a foster right now and is being a VERY good boy. Poncho's only issue is with SOME other dogs. He's fine with many, but not all, and we can't figure out what actually bothers him. Therefore, we feel it best that he be an only dog. He has not been tested around cats, but we would strongly advise caution. We do, however, feel that he would be fine with older, dog savvy children.

As previously mentioned, Poncho is a Paws in Prison graduate. He spent 24 hours a day with his trainers, so he will do best in a home where he is primarily an inside dog able to spend a lot of time with his family. A fenced in yard would also be a really good idea, but Poncho has learned to walk nicely on a leash. He enjoys long strolls for sniffing and peeing on stuff. He's the best!!!

Poncho is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $250.
