Baxter V, 19-114's Bio

Baxter came to us from a very caring owner who recognized his inability to provide the perfect home for him. Baxter is a typical happy-go-lucky beagle pup who loves nothing more than playing with other dogs (of any and all sizes)! He will do well in an active home where he can be a true member of the family. He's great with children, crate trained, and house broken. He enjoys car rides and trips to the dog park are his favorite!

Baxter is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Baxter is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 10/05/2019.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Baxter's training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
