Bernie III, 19-109's Bio

Bernie is a very smart fun loving guy that is eager to please. He is very personable and loves people. He is great with other dogs, and seems to be house trained. He loves to be included in the action. Bernie is very sweet and picks up things quickly. He is great in the car and loves to go on adventures.

Bernie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Bernie is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 9/14/19.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Bernie’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
