Charlie XIII, 19-103's Bio

Charlie is a great dog who is smart as he is beautiful. He is extemely socail and loves to be with other dogs and humans. Charlie wants to be included in everything going on around him. He is housetrained and listens very well. He loads right up in a car and rides great. Charlie loves to go on adventures and would be perfect for social outings and hiking or dog parks. Charlie needs to put on some weight and then he will be just stunning. He will make a great addition to almost any home or lifestyle.

Charlie is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Charlie is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 10/09/2019.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Charlie's training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.

CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families.
