Rocky VIIII, 19-090's Bio

Rocky is a gorgeous boy with a big heart. He loves people and thinks he might still be a lap puppy. He gets along fine with other dogs, but really prefers if his human only has eyes for him. He is very smart and learns quickly. He is house trained and will be an excellent companion dog. He would love a family that will take him on hikes or walks, or any activity that lets him spend time with his people.

Rocky is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $250.

Rocky is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 8/10/18.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Rocky’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
