Oscar V, 19-062's Bio

Oscar is an absolute bundle of joy. He is bright and outgoing, very sweet and eager to please. He is happy-go-lucky and lives to be with humans. Oscar is great with other dogs but fine on his own too. He very much likes to go out for adventures; he loads right up in the car and rides like a dream. He loves to go for hikes and walks, and then settling down for snuggles completes Oscar’s perfect day. Oscar is learning not to mark where other males have (his neuter will help with that) but other than that he is housetrained and will ask to go outside. Oscar is very attentive and will speak back to you you, he will charm you with his sweet woo woos. Oscar will make an excellent companion dog and will fit right in to almost any family and lifestyle.

Oscar is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Oscar is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 7/6/19.

The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Oscar’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
