Tegan, 19-061's Bio

Tegan is as smart as she is beautiful. She has that husky talk and will tell you a whole story if you have time to listen. She also has that famous husky stubborn and sweet all rolled into one gorgeous package. She was surrendered by her owners to the shelter because she did not get along with their other dog, but has done great with everyone we have put her with so we are going to call her dog selective. Tegan needs a home where she knows what is expected of her, and she will gladly comply to please her humans. She is medium-high energy- she loves to play with other doggos or go for a hike but then she is ready for pets and snuggles. Tegan is house trained and crate trained. She knows her basic commands and with her intelligence will surely excel in her Paws in Prison training.

Tegan  is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250

Tegan is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 6/29/19.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Tegan’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with his trainers.
