Thanks to Mary Brown in honor of Angel Antoon and Nola and Romeo Madigan For Giving Me a Second Chance!

Gretchen IV, 19-020's Bio

Gretchen is one of those fantastic all around dogs that just worm right into your heart. She had been selected as a puppy to be a service dog and had been training for this, but at 3 still has a little more puppy energy left in her than is allowed to continue training for this purpose. Gretchen is housetrained, knows several commands, and is great with other dogs. She is very smart and we are excited to see what new tricks she learns in her training. And let’s talk about balls, because Gretchen needs a home that will supply her with many as she is happiest when she has one of her beloved balls. Gretchen will make an excellent to almost any household.

Gretchen is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.

Gretchen is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 4/13/19.

The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Gretchen’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her  trainers.
