Harvey II, 19-016's Bio

Harvey was the victim of a neglect/abuse case, but he didn’t let that effect his love for life. His neck still bears the scars of his previous life, but his heart does not. Harvey is continuing to put on weight and he is going to be stunning! Harvey is extremely smart and learns very quickly. He loves toys and treats and other dogs and hoomans and beds and all things food related. Harvey is young and still has lots of energy but loves to hang on the couch too. He is housetrained and already knows how to sit. He is going to the Paws in Prison training program to work on his leash manners and learn a few more tricks and he will be ready to be the star of your family! Harvey has heartworm, but will be treated for this at no cost to his adopter.

Harvey  is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Harvey is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 3/30/19.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Harvey’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
