Walter, 19-013's Bio

Walter is a really cool laid back guy. He loves to be in your lap, but delights in playing with toys as well. He is a total charmer and loves everyone he meets. Walter is great with other dogs, he has not been tested with cats yet. Walter never went in his kennel at the shelter and pottied  outside as soon as he was taken out so we are guessing he has been housetrained. Walter has a steady temperament and easy way about him that will make him the perfect fit for almost any home.

Walter  is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Walter is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 3/16/19.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Walter’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
