Chip III, 19-010's Bio

Chip is a spunky, fun , and outgoing little guy. He is sweet and lovesss to be a lap baby. Chip was found as a stray. He had been shot and was on the streets freezing, starving, and all alone. People were feeding him and trying to catch him, he would eat but scoot away when he got scared. We were able to secure him. We posted him to lost and found, but an owner was never located. He has been undergoing treatment for his gunshot wound, and it’s almost completely healed. Chip tested positive for heartworm, and will be getting treated for this at no cost to his adopter. He gets along with most other dogs. Chip is tenacious and very lucky to be alive, and we are sure glad he is! Chip is looking for a home where he can be indoors on your lap as much as possible, but enjoys going on walks too.

Chip will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped before being adopted. His adoption fee is $200.

CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families.
