Hammish, 18-153's Bio

Hammish was told by his family that they were going on vacation. They dropped him off at boarding and told him they would be back for him. But the nights turned into days, the days turned into weeks, and  the weeks have now turned into months.. And they never came back for this precious soul. They did finally call from a state far way and said to tell Hammish that he was now without a family. Well we think that’s not cool. Hammish is a smart friendly boy that deserves someone to be there for him just like he will for them. Hammish is very social and loves to play with other dogs. He also loves attention. And toys. And treats. But mostly his humans. Hammish is  a medium-high energy guy looking for a fun lifestyle that will include him in many activities. Whoever gets this ham will be lucky indeed because he is bad to the bone!

Hammish  is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Hammish is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 2/8/19.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Hammish’s training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, his daily training progress, and his interactions with his trainers.
