Boston III, 18-151's Bio

Boston was found dumped in a woman’s yard. He was scared and very skinny. She tried to feed Boston, but soon realized he couldn’t eat. Boston you see only has half a tongue. We are not sure exactly what happened, but it appears that some kind of trauma caused him to bite a large portion of his tongue off. But Boston is a fighter and had the will to live. He taught his foster how to care for him, and with lots of support has blossomed into a big beautiful boy. Boston has progressed to the point he can now eat dry kibble, and drinks just fine. Because Boston is missing half of his tongue, he is on the heavier side of drooly, even for his breed. But he is also a true gentle giant, and our hero.

Boston is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $200.

CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families. If you are interested in meeting Boston or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application.
