Firestar, 18-131's Bio

Faith’s and Firestar’s mom, Mercy, was my daughter’s family’s outside cat. (They already had 2 inside cats) They decided she needed to be spayed. Dr. Marvin examined her and determined she was pregnant. Two kits, Faith and Hope were born on July 16, 2014. Since Hope was a male, granddaughter renamed him Firestar from a children’s book series about cats, Warrior Stories. (I think Firestar was a warrior). Mom and kits were outside pets until Mercy spent extended time at the vet’s being spayed after kits were weaned.  After that, the 3 then became inside cats. After 8 months, daughter’s family said 5 is too many cats!  Nana (me) was enlisted to rehome them. They enjoy naps on the screen porch, in the sunlight rays by the front glass door, on windowsills, special chairs/settees and snuggles next to Nana or at the four of her bed at night. They love snacks and come running when the bag is shaken. They’re happy kitties with sweet dispositions. Nana travels a lot and after 3 years, she decided it was just too difficult on everyone involved to continue having pets at the high standards to which she held for them. It is my desire to find a loving home for Faith and Firestar. It would be wonderful if they could be rehomed together. They each have sweet temperaments. However, if necessary, they would do fine in different loving homes. I have all their supplies for them and that will come with them. The most important thing is that they be placed in a loving home(s). They will make excellent, loving pets.  💛💛Firestar is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $100.CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families. If you are interested in meeting Firestar or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here:
