Abby VI, 18-113's Bio

Abby was adopted at 2 months old from the shelter, and returned because her family could no longer care for her. She is young and fun, full of play bows and wiggles. Abby LOVES to play with other dogs, and show off her speed and looks at the dog park. She needs leash training (which she will get a PIP), but knows her basic commands and is very smart. Abby is eager to please, and loves to be included in whatever the activity around her is. Abby is housebroken, and has used a dog door in the past. She is sweet as can be, and has tons of personality. Abby is looking for a home where she can play with other dogs and maybe have some kids to play with as well.

Abby is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $250

Abby is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 12/07/18.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Abby’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her  trainers. If you are interested in meeting Abby or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here: http://www.careforanimals.org/adoption-app.cfm
