Blanca 18-096's Bio

Blanca was found wandering in a ditch, emaciated and apparently was or had been nursing puppies, although they were never found.  She is the absolute queen of distinguished. She is gentle and loving and gorgeous to boot! She is low energy and would prefer to hang on the couch with you if she has the choice. She gets along well with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats.  Blanca is in the Paws In Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from the program on 9/14/18. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Blanca’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers. If you are interested in meeting Blanca or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here:
