Willow VII, 18-095's Bio

Willow was found as a stray but seems like she was someone’s dog at one point. She is sweet and attentive, her tail never stops wagging! Willow always used the bathroom outside her kennel as much as possible so is probably house trained or just needs a refresher course. She gets along with other dogs of all sizes and didn’t mind the kitties at the shelter. She is smart and alert, and her time in training in PIP will make her a great companion to all. Willow is medium/high energy and would enjoy an active lifestyle but cuddle times as well. Willow is in the Paws In Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from the program on 9/15/18. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Willow’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers. If you are interested in meeting Willow or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here: http://www.careforanimals.org/adoption-app.cfm
