Edith, 18-087's Bio

Edith has never met a stranger and is loved by everyone she meets. Edith was picked up as a stray so although her background is unknown it seems like someone put a lot of time into her. She knows her basic commands and will even shake with both paws! She seems to be house trained, and is good with both other dogs and the kitties she has met. Edith is medium energy and also loves to be a couch potato with her people.

Edith is in the Paws In Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from the program on 7/29/2018. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Edith’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers. If you are interested in meeting Edith or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here: http://www.careforanimals.org/adoption-app.cfm
