Minnie, 18-075's Bio

Minnie is timid at first, but will warm up to be a wonderful companion if given the time and TLC to do so, as proven by her recent experience at Paws in Prison. Minnie has graduated from Paws in Prison and learned several tricks including how to play dead! She is looking for a quiet home with a fenced-in backyard and another dog to keep her company and show her the ropes. She would do best in a home without chilren, and bonds best to men. She is somewhat stubborn, so she will need a firm and patient handler.

Minnie is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.

Minnie is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 7/28/18.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Minerva’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers. If you are interested in meeting Minnie or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here: http://www.careforanimals.org/adoption-app.cfm
