Joplin, 17-124's Bio

Helter Skelter is all how you’re going to feel when you see little Joplin! Joplin is an adorable, half-pint German Shepard and Basenji mix. Joplin is a timid, but loving little girl. She loves to play outside and is great with other dogs. She LOVES kids who are gentle players. She is a very mild mannered dog that does great on leash. She loves going for walks and exploring outside. She is very social and likes being with people as well as other dogs. Joplin’s adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in meeting Joplin or learning more about the adoption process, please visit our website and submit our online adoption application here: http://www.careforanimals.org/adoption-app.cfm Joplin is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. She is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 2/9/18.  The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive Joplin’s training journal. This journal documents her arrival from the shelter, her daily training progress, and her interactions with her trainers.
