Lydia, is the perfect lady, here is her autobiography. "I was quite young when I found myself in a situtation where I was surrounded by nearly one-hundred other dogs. My food, which I shared with my 'pen-mates', was delivered every other day and became moldy quickly, the water was slimy and we were often over-run with mice. Our pen flooded after heavy rains and my poor feet sank into several inches of mud. Summers were quite miserable, we suffered with ticks and fleas and the heat was quite unbearable. I have lived for six years in these conditions and am ready to find myself a home. I am housetrained and not destructive at all. I crave human attention and touch. I do well with other dogs, however if I am an only pet all the better to shower you with affection and love. Please email my foster family if you are interested at trishmaynes@sbcglobal.net". Thanks, Lydia. Lydia, has been the perfect houseguest. She is a wonderful pet who against all odds came into my home with minimal emotional or behavorial baggage. She is about 6 years old, housetrained, very polite and loving. The day she arrived, Lydia curled up on her new bed and breathed a big sigh of relief. I believe she realized the traumatic days were past and her best days were yet to come. I have had many foster dogs over the years, she is one of the easiest and most laid back. Lydia will begin heartworm treatment in the near future and is recovering nicely from some other health issues. I you would like make a tax deferred donation to offset Lydia's healthcare please do so via paypal at www.ootwrescue.org.
